    Annual decorative climbing plant grows up to 3 meters. Beautiful flowers that change their color during blooming.   • AKA: Immortelle. A dream in dried flower arrangements, Immortelle is an excellent everlasting with daisy-like flowers. Our mix is a medley of double flowers in shades of pink and white. Annual flowering plant with erect, branched stems, 50-60 cm high. Diameter 3-4 cm. Blooms from July to September.

Balsam seeds can be started indoors 6 weeks before your last frost. Surface sow the seeds in containers with pre-moistened soil. Do not cover them. They need sunlight to germinate. Moisten soil before sowing seeds on the surface. The seeds should start germinating within four days. Keep the seedlings well-watered. You can plant them outdoors after your last frost when the soil has warmed. Space your seedlings 12 inches apart. Balsam's colourful flowers light up the garden all summer. It's easy to grow and will reseed itself for years of enjoyment.

Use for arrangements and flower beds.  Where winters are harsh, it's common to grow vinca as an annual. Vinca blooms in spring to early summer and can bloom in fall if cut back in the summer. In late summer, before temperatures drop, cut back vinca vines to half their length or less to increase fall flowering. To increase the odds of vinca survival where freezing is common, overwinter vinca in a protected place. Pot the plants in the fall before the ground hardens and move them to a greenhouse or indoors near a south-facing window.
