    50-60 days-Easy to grow and delicious to eat, this Chinese broccoli is harvested when the flower stalks are 1-2cm thick, just before the flowers open. Each Green Pearl Gai Lan seeds plant can be harvested several times, and all Gai Lan varieties are relatively cold hardy for fall harvests or winter harvests if some protection is provided. Gai Lan also makes extremely nutritious sprouts and microgreens. Its thick stems stay crunchy and succulent when steamed or stir-fried. It only takes a couple of minutes to stir fry.

    Silverado Swiss chard seeds produce relatively compact plants that have heavily savoyed, deep, dark green leaves with bright white stems. A taste test favourite, and very high resistance to bolting. Silverado is ready to harvest as baby greens in only 25 to 30 days. Fairly slow-growing chard that reaches 35-40cm in height. Harvest individual leaves by cutting from the base.

    A mixture of chicory from the Italian varieties Radicchio and Endive, including Pan di Zucchero, Spadona, Romanesca da Taglio, Cuor d Oro, Riccia Pancalieri, Rosso di Treviso, di Chiggia, Variegata di Lusia, Treviso 4 Tardiva, Rossa Treviso sel Sveltael Rolla Rossa Treviso sel Sveltael Rolla Ross Rossa Agena, Palla Rossa Giusto. Specially selected varieties for growing early baby chicory leaves (3-4 weeks after germination). Sow directly in beds or in containers from early spring to winter and cut when they reach a height of 10-15cm (4-6in.). For continuous harvest sow every 3-4 weeks.

    Rossa di Treviso is a prized Heirloom radicchio from Treviso Italy. It is very cold hardy and will add a striking colour to salads! Leaves start off green and then turn red contrasting beautifully against the thick white stripes and midribs as the weather cools. The tender, slightly bitter leaves are delicious in salads or sauteed with other vegetables. Believed to be good for insomnia and purifying the blood.

    This lettuce can be used as a baby leaf in 30 days or 45 days to fully grown.  An outstanding and unique variety, Amish Deer Tongue has triangular leaves that are packed with great taste and wonderful texture. Great for organic gardens. Its visual appearance and strong growth habit make it a great heirloom variety to try.  The dark green triangular leaves have thin midribs similar to romaine but with a nutty flavour. Once you try this lettuce you will want it in your salad bowl often during the season. Amish Deer Tongue has a 90% germination rate which is above the 70% rate for most lettuce varieties.

    Dating back to 1885, this heirloom wins most flavour contests. Brandywine, which dates back to 1885, is the heirloom tomato standard. The large, beefsteak-shaped fruits grow on unusually upright, potato-leaved plants. The fruits set one or two per cluster and ripen late-and are worth the wait. Brandywine's qualities really shine when it develops an incredibly fine, sweet flavor. It a massive tomato and the vines are massive too. Tall sturdy stalks are necessary for these plants.
