    Our best parsnip seeds. Classic parsnip shape with a deep crown-set, wide, rounded shoulders, and roots that quickly taper. White Spear plants are vigorous and roots are uniform in shape. The roots are very white with smooth skins and a fine, mellow flavour that is very sweet as a roasted vegetable or simply chopped into soups and stews. It has excellent storage ability both in the ground and in cold storage. The ideal size for harvest is 30 cm. Many roots grow to more than 45 cm when soil is loose and left in the ground until frost. White Spear parsnip is the best choice for early spring planting and harvesting in early summer. Parsnip may be covered with mulch and left in the ground for winter harvest or until the following season for seed collection.

    50 day-Only growing to 15-20cm tall, this petite green has vivid white, succulent petioles and dark green, nearly round leaves. Dwarf White Stemmed Pac Choi has a mild, sweet flavour that works well in salads and stir-fries. Try adding thinly sliced Pac Choi to any noodle dish, or any vegetable soup recipe. Thin plants to 30 cm so that they can grow to full size. Dwarf White Stemmed Pac Choi seeds may be grown from early spring to late fall, and the seeds do not require warm soil for germination. This variety forms nice, tight, urn-shaped heads with broad leaves.

It produces pale yellow oval squash that may or may not have distinguishable ridges and can show some substantial differences in fruit coloration from very pale yellow to greenish-white, to darker green, to pale greenish-white with darker green stripes. They are hard-shelled when mature at 25-36cm. Beneath the hard white skin is a creamy interior that is wonderful for stuffing and baking. Vegetable Marrow squash seeds are a Lebanese type of squash and can be picked young when pale green and used like summer squash. Plants are prolific and will produce over a long summer season if kept picked. Leave this squash to cure outside for about a week before storing it. Squash is easy to grow and to harvest. Harvest all squash before your first frost.

    This rapidly growing member of the cabbage family produces a greenish-white enlarged stem with short tops and few leaves. Slow to bolt and early producing, White Vienna is best harvested when the stem reaches 5-7.5 cm in diameter. Keep soil moist during dry weather.  The flesh is white with a nutty flavour when eaten raw and has a mild cabbage taste when cooked. Sow seed every two weeks from April through to early August.  White Vienna is heirloom prior to 1860's.
